1993 Red 40th Anniversary Corvette Coupe. Has the LT1 engine
with the manual 6 speed. Approximately 69,800 Miles. I have had
the car for about two years and have done some work to it. It
has a clean Carfax and a current PA Inspection. I have the clean
PA Title in hand. I would rate the car 9/10 mechanically, 7/10
for both the exterior and interior condition. Fair share
of scuffs on the exterior paint but no body damage.
Work done to the car since I purchased from a dealer in the

The Good
The car is a solid driver’s car. No mechanical issues. I’ve
put about 5,000 miles on the car in the last two years and have
only had the car fail on me once. A Coolant hose ruptured which
I replaced. The tires still have plenty of tread on them. The
previous owner replaced the Bose head unit with an older
replacement unit. I have replaced this with a Sony Headunit and
Kicker Component speakers all around. I’ve retrofitted the 6.5
Inch components to fit in the old Bose speaker housings all
around and removed the old BOSE amplifiers.
The Bad
The center console fitment is a little bit
lacking. I’ve replaced all the original center console trim with
aftermarket, but I find the fit to be less than Steller. There
is a little play in the replacement seat track for the drives
seat. You can notice it when you stand on the throttle.
Occasionally the check engine light will come on and go away on
long highway drives. Seems to just be a nuisance caution.
The windows weep a little water if you take it through a
carwash, doesn't seem to be an issue otherwise. The AC
Blower is hit or miss. Sometimes it will not blow on anything
other than the lowest setting. The trunk release on the driver
side door doesn't work. The car battery used to die regularly
before I removed the old BOSE amplifiers in the car. I installed
a quick disconnect on the battery to preclude it dying when the
car sits. Does not seem to be an issue in the last month after I
did some troubleshooting. The new head unit will on occasion
remain on after the car is shut odd (Because of the 12 V accy
lead I used for the head unit). You have to shut the head unit
off manually,
Car is located in Southern Chester County, PA. $8,500 OBO.
