1979 Corvette 2DR coupe, VIN 1Z8789S402571, $22,500.00. Immaculate condition with only 14,300 miles.  Car is all original unrestored.  It is the Corvette C3 family with the L-82 220 HP, 5.7-liter V-8 engine, four-barrel carburetor and three-speed automatic transmission. Carburetor has just been rebuilt. Tires are brand new in September of 2023 and a complete brake job was also done at that time including calipers, discs and lines.  The tires did not look bad at all, but they were at least 12 years old.   Gaskets for the oil pan and both valve covers are replaced as is the o-ring attached to the speedometer cable at the transmission.  All fluids were changed or updated as needed.  The bucket seats and interior are all leather. The oyster color interior is nice and very clean.  It is equipped with power brakes, power steering, rear window defroster, AM-FM stereo radio and the heavy-duty battery. The only item in need of repair is the electric clock, which does not run.  If any car could be called “Showroom” this, is it.
