Corvette coupe, 1968 frame (via
registration), 1970 body. Rough paint with some bodywork needed-over opened doors
and 4" gap in front spoiler lip. Interior passable, black leather.
Engine is rebuilt strip/street 427 from previous owner with less than 1500 miles.
Iron block with Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads and intake. Edelbrock
aluminum water pump. Forged rods, pistons and crank. Full roller aluminum
rockers, Comp 280 cam (hyd), Mallory Unilite optical distributor, Hooker Super Comp
headers and large tube exhaust, "mufflers" in stock location. Flex fan,
power brakes, no A/C or power steering. New fuel tank 2003. New battery 2007.
Runs strong on old Holley 750 DP.
New parts on vehicle: Tires BFG 225/70-15), Rear leaf spring (330#), shock perches
and shocks, SS sleeved brakes, trailing arms, bearing packs, U-joints (all rear end pieces
Van Steel comps), Transmission (M20 rebuilt by Ed Hartnett), Output yoke, Clutch
(Centerforce), Flywheel (Summit), Geared starter (Summit), Hurst shifter, MSD 6A box,
Moroso wire set, March alternator bracket, steering rag joint, GM fuel tank cap.
New parts not on vehicle, included in sale: Heat barrier kit, Carpet set, 8 pc
weatherstrip kit, various trim and hardware parts-headlight bucker and pivot pieces, trim
fasteners, etc., passenger side view mirror, Barry Grant 850 annular discharge carb, 4 row
copper brass radiator (Optima core), K&N filter and drop-base housing, Lokar throttle
cable mount kit, battery cutout switch.
Several used part including signal lamp assemblies and other trim parts.
Records since acquisition (2004). New addition to the family forces sale (now I know
