THE TURBO AUTOMATIC 400 IS THE ORIGINAL MATCHING SERISAL NUMBERS AND DATE CODE TO THIS
CAR. IT ALSO HAS BEEN COMPLETELY SERVICED WITH NEW FILTER, FLUID AND MODULATOR VALVE.
SHIFTS AND PERFORMS LIKE NEW. IT WILL DEFINITELY JERK A NOT IN YOUR TAIL WHEN IT SHIFTS.
THE 3.08 GEAR REAR END IS ALL ORIGINAL DATE CODED TO THE CAR WITH NO KNOWN DEFECTS AND
RUNS OUT STRONG. NO NOISES OR POPPING LIKE SOME OLDER VETTES. THE FRAME ON THIS CAR IS
PERFECT WITH NO RUST BUT DOES HAVE NORMAL SURFACE ROAD GRIME. THERE IS A RECENT NEW
SET OF RADIAL TIRES, SHOCKS AND DISC BRAKES PUT ON THE CAR.
BODY, CHROME, GLASS & TRIM
THIS CAR APPEARS TO HAVE HAD NO BODY DAMAGE AT ANYTIME IN ITS HISTORY. ALL OF THE
FIBERGLASS HAS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL CHALK MARKINGS ON THEM. ALSO MY BODYSHOP OWNER
INSPECTED THE CAR AND SAID THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF PAST BODY DAMAGE. IT HAS HAD ONE VERY
NICE HIGH END REPAINT DONE TO IT A FEW YEARS BACK. I WOULD RATE THE PAINT AT A 9 TO 9.5 ON
A SCALE OF 1 TO 10 WITH 10 BEING THE BEST. CAR RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL GLASS AND ALSO
I RATE IT AT A 9. THE CHROME ON THE CAR IS ABOVE AVERAGE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE REAR
BUMPERS THAT HAVE MINOR DISCOLORATION AND SCRATCHES BUT CANNOT TELL AT 5 FEET AWAY. THE
TRIM ON THE CAR HAS NO KNOWN DEFECTS AND IS IN ABOVE AVERAGE SHAPE.
INTERIOR
THE INTERIOR IN THE CAR IS ORIGINAL. THE SEATS, SEAT BELTS, OPTIONAL SHOULDER BELTS, DOOR
PANELS, DASH, CARPET AND CONSOLE ARE ALL IN GREAT CONDITION WITH NO TEARS, RIPS OR FADING.
THE DASH INSTRUMETATION IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THE WOOD ON THE DOORS AND CONSOLE ARE IN
AVERAGE SHAPE WITH SOME AGING SHOWING. THE CONSOLE, DASH AND RADIO BEZELS ARE ALL GOOD AND
NOT BROKE, THEY DO SHOW SOME AGING.
CAR OVERVIEW
THIS CAR REALLY IS A VERY NICE DRIVER CORVETTE. THIS IS A CAR THAT YOU CAN DRIVE AND
ENJOY. IT'S A CAR THAT IF YOU PARK IT NEXT TO A TRAILER QUEEN THE TRAILER QUEEN WILL NOT
MAKE YOU LOOK BAD. HOWEVER THIS CAR IS NOT A TRAILER QUEEN ITSELF. IT IS AS PREVIOUSLY
STATED A VERY NICE #2 DRIVER. I BELIEVE THAT THIS CAR IS TRULY AN UNMOLESTED ALL ORIGINAL
CAR WITH NEW PAINT. IT HAS ALL THE TELL/TELL SIGNS AND DOCUMENTATION OF BEING JUST THAT. I
ALSO FEEL THE CAR IS VERY UNDERPRICED AT THE ASKING PRICE. I HAVE TRIED TO BE AS ACCURATE
AS I CAN IN THE DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION OF THIS CAR. THIS OF COURSE IS MY OPINON. I
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU COME SEE AND DRIVE THE CAR OR HAVE A SECOND PARTY INSPECTION
DONE BEFORE PURCHASING THE CAR. YOUR OPINON OF THE CAR MAY BE BETTER OR WORSE THAN MINE.
THE CAR IS 37 YEARS OLD AND I PROMISE EVERYTHING ON THE CAR WILL NOT BE PERFECT YET YOU
